Bayer Leverkusen prepares for an easy game against the struggling Werder Bremen who sit in the Bundesliga relegation playoff spot so far. Werder Bremen needed three months to score the first Bundesliga victory (4-0) at Hannover for this season. Thus, their performance in DFB-Pokal is more hopeful, as they won at both Freiburg and Hoffenheim in the previous two rounds.
